I, like many others have oily skin. This can be extremely annoying at times. Sometimes our skin can get oily really quickly, and no matter what you do you don’t know how to control it. Don’t worry though, because I’m going to help you build a skincare routine that’s perfect for your oily skin. Without further ado, let’s spill the tea.

Facial Cleanser
Washing your face is very important for any skin type. Washing your face helps remove oil, dirt, and buildup that has accumulated on your face all day. Many people with oily skin make a mistake though. Since our skin is oily, we feel that we need to wash our face multiple times a day to help control oil production, but when doing that you’re actually making your face produce more oil. By over washing your face you strip your face of natural oils, which causes your skin to overproduce oil. Your skin still needs some oil to stay moisturized. I recommend only washing your face twice a day. Once in the morning, and once at night.
The next step is determining what face wash to use. I’m going to give some recommendations for some face washes to try out that are specifically for oily skin. Now remember, even though products for oily skin may work for some people, they may not work for you. We may have the same skin types, but different products may work for some people, while it may not work for you.
